Doug Wax founded IPA in 1976 with co-founder and partner, Robert A. Lipson. Doug was originally licensed as a real estate broker in the State of California in 1972. He was educated at Yale University (B.A.) and the University of Southern California (M.B.A.) and was a two term, past president of the American Industrial Real Estate Association (1981-82). In addition to a long and successful career as a broker, Doug was also an accomplished developer having built 57 industrial buildings in Ventura County, the San Fernando Valley and the Santa Clarita area. Doug passed away peacefully at his home in Newbury Park, California on January 3, 2021.
