Doug Wax founded IPA in 1976 with co-founder and partner, Robert A. Lipson. Doug was orginally licensed as a real estate broker in the State of California in 1972. He was educated at Yale University (B.A.) and the University of Southern California (M.B.A.) and was a two term, past president of the American Industrial Real Estate Association (1981-82). In addition to a long and successful career as a broker Doug was also a successful developer having built over 50 industrial buildings in Ventura County, the San Fernando Valley and the Valencia area. Doug passed away peacefully at his home in Newbury Park, California on January 3, 2021.
